BTCCSquare news:

The FBI has placed a $10 million bounty on a Ukrainian hacker linked to a cybercriminal group responsible for ransomware attacks on multinational corporations. The group, now neutralized, allegedly caused billions in damages by deploying malware like LockerGoga, MegaCortex, HIVE, and Dharma to encrypt corporate servers and demand cryptocurrency ransoms.

Over several years, the hackers targeted over 1,000 servers across France, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, and the U.S., inflicting losses exceeding UAH 3 billion. The suspect, a Ukrainian national, is on the EU's most-wanted list following an international operation involving Ukrainian cyber police.
